TRIO SCHERZO

Trio Scherzo

The chamber ensemble TRIO "SCHERZO" was founded in 1998 by former soloists of the Symphony Orchestra of the Belarusian Radio and of the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Belarus.

The ensemble includes following members:

Valery Weruchanow - flute - born into the musical family has started his music studies as a six year old child. In 1990 he has graduated from the Special musical school for the gifted youth and in 1995 from the State Higher School for Music in Minsk. That same year he started his career with the State symphonic orchestra of the Byelorussian Radio to become the concertmaster of the flute group in 1998 - 2003. Since 2003 resides and works in Munich (Germany).

In November 2005 the Chamber music concert agency "Scherzo" was set up jointly with the cellist Konstantin Zaryk and violinist Sergei Belozertsev.

Konstantin Zaryk - cello- was born Brest Area in Byelorussia. His first steps in music he made as early as at the age of two and namely he played accordion (first with a help of his father). At the age of ten he started to play cello and was as a talented child admitted into the Special musical school for the gifted youth in Minsk. Having graduated in 1978 from the State Higher School for Music in Minsk he worked in the Orchestra of the State Opera House of Byelorussia. From 1982 performed as a soloist cellist in the State symphonic orchestra of the Byelorussian Radio. Since March 2005 resides and works in Germany.

Sergei Belozertsev - violin - was born in the city of Archangelsk in Russia. His engagement with music began comparatively late at the age of eleven. However at the age of 15 he already started to study violin at the conservatoire in Archangelsk to graduate with excellence in 1977 from the Higher School for Music in St. Petersburg. Subsequently he played in Chamber Orchestra in Minsk and from 1985 in Academic state symphonic orchestra of Byelorussia. Since 1995 he is the soloist and concertmaster of this orchestra.
